when I was in college, you could always tell who the sorority chicks were...while everyone else at your 9:05 class looked like they just rolled out of bed (sweatpants, scrunchies, hats to hide bed-head)...the sorority chicks would stroll in....and I swear to god they had to have gotten up at 6am to do themselves up. I could never date someone with that level of vanity.

you're right, I don't have to worry about it...b/c I'm at the age now where I wouldn't want to date any girl of that age....sorority chick or not....but I think you're reading too much into my comment.

It was a generalization designed to get a chuckle, not a legitimate character assasination of all sorority chicks. I know that there are plenty of smart and down to earth sorority girls...hell, I married one.

My point is that there were a lot of overly-primped, waaaay too into themselves girls when I was in school....and a lot of them happened to be in sororities. It's called a stereotype, and while always having their exceptions, exist for a reason, that being that there is an aspect of truth to them on some level...that's why they're funny.

And while I can't speak for the ladies here...I'm not sure drawing an analogy between a woman and a car is a smart move.
